Louie was 12 years old at the time of his rescue.
The white lion is a rare color mutation of the Southern African lion (Timbavati region). Louie was born in captivity and originally gifted to his previous owner and trainer, Brian, by a friend in Africa. In Swahili, Lufuno means "good to love." With his kind and sweet nature, Louie certainly lives up to his name.
