(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/lions/websites/staging.lionstigersandbears.org/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114Atlas was being kept by a private owner in Montana that bought him as a pet when he was just a kitten. Atlas lived indoors alongside his private owner, their dogs and a domestic cat. However, as Atlas continued to grow and develop, his innate instincts began to shine bright and being the bobcat that he is, he became unmanageable. Atlas' owner knew that the bobcat deserved a better life where he could just be a bobcat, so he decided to step up and do the right thing and reached out to Lions Tigers & Bears for help.
Atlas was rescued in July 2021 at the age of four. We were happy to welcome Atlas to our sanctuary family and are confident that he will adjust well to sanctuary life. We even have high hopes to introduce Atlas to Diego, as they are just around the same age, but only time will tell.
